Dundela Football Club
Dundela F.C. (the Duns) is a football team from east Belfast, Northern Ireland. They currently play in the Irish Football League First Division after gaining promotion at the end of the 2003-04 season. The club plays its home matches at Wilgar Park. The clubs colours are green and white shirts, white shorts and green or, white socks.
The Dundela Football Club was formed in 1895 from both, employees of a local dairy owned by the Agnew family and members of a local Harriers Club. Their greatest-ever achievement came in April 1955, when as ranked-outsiders, they defeated the mighty Glenavon Football Club by three goals to nil at Windsor Park, Belfast in the final of the Northern Irish Cup.
